Dear Friend,

We would like to ask you to consider supporting the Unionville-Chadds Ford Education Foundation. Our mission is to provide seed money to educators in our community with great ideas to enhance educational opportunities for our kids. All of this is made possible through the generous support of businesses and families in the area. We hope that we can count on your participation in the coming year! There are a number of ways you can get involved.

As you consider your giving, we hope you will remember the UCFEF. We are a parent-run 501(c)3 organization, staffed entirely by volunteers, so our operating costs are minimal. Your tax-deductible contributions go directly to funding projects in the district. Matching funds from employees’ companies are also a significant benefit to the Foundation. We are also a designated recipient by the United Way of Chester County, Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware.

Since the UCFEF was launched in 1995 we have dispersed over $220,000, and funded over 120 wonderful projects. Recent grants include Smart Boards in every building, State-of-the-Art TV Studio Equipment, a Built- in Classroom Amplification System, LCD Projectors and Student Response Systems, an expansive Outdoor Classroom, Audio Learning Programs and also Band Saws for the Tech. Ed. Dept. All of this thanks to the support of local individuals and businesses that care about the future of our schools and our children.
