Pennsylvania EITC

The Unionville Chadds Ford Education Foundation (UCFEF) is listed as an Education Improvement Organization eligible for donations under Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). Enacted in May 2001, this program provides businesses in the Commonwealth with a tax credit (up to 90%) for contributions to non-profit Scholarship or Educational Improvement Organizations. In addition, a contribution to the UCFEF is deductible as a standard charitable gift on your federal income tax declaration. This is a “win-win” situation for businesses and schools, it is simply reallocating tax dollars to the community! For details about the PA EITC program, click here.

What businesses qualify for the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program? Businesses incorporated in the state of PA, subject to one or more of the following taxes:

Corporate Net Income Tax

Capitol Stock Franchise Tax

Bank & Trust Company Shares Tax

Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax

Insurance Premiums Tax

Mutual Thrift Institution Tax
